As Texas Christian University continued expanding across Fort Worth, its IT team needed a connectivity partner that could keep pace with growth—without the limitations of trenching new fiber. TCU had remote sites with inconsistent service and existing core buildings that needed network redundancy. Everything had to support high-capacity use and remain fully integrated into the university’s network.
BelWave stepped in to create reliable network extensions using both point-to-point links and Ethernet Virtual Circuits (EVCs). These solutions allowed the university to connect buildings without requiring line-of-sight or the cost of buried infrastructure—while meeting the demands of a growing student body.
