When Professional Bull Riders brought one of the world’s fastest-growing sports properties to Decatur, every second of connectivity mattered. Live broadcasts, scoring, ticketing, concessions, and arena operations all depended on reliable, real-time data throughout the venue.
BelWave designed and deployed a complete network environment before the event, including a private staff network for the Texas Rattlers, public Wi-Fi for attendees, expanded outdoor coverage for ticketing and concessions, and a dedicated gigabit connection for the live broadcast team. Separating critical broadcast traffic from public and operational networks ensured consistent, low-latency performance.
On the morning of the event, nearby construction severed the venue’s primary fiber connection. BelWave’s self-healing network immediately rerouted traffic through a geographically diverse backup path without manual intervention. Venue operations and the live broadcast remained fully operational while the primary circuit was restored and tested—without fans ever experiencing an interruption.
